Wuhan, the capital city of Hubei province, put electric vehicles into commercial operation in July 2003 and 292 vehicles have been used and the total range is over 10 million km.
500 Dongfeng electric cart have been approved by the Beijing Olympics Committee to serve the sports venues. Wuhan is the only one among 7 demonstration cities in China to have its independently developed electric vehicles run in areas outside Wuhan. |
